Connecting Coast to coast South America, from Atlantic Ocean to Pacific Ocean and back.

From pacified favelas of Vidigal Roncinha and the Rio de Janeiro Olympics 2016: example of an architectural monster that is devouring the city, to the statue of Christ the Redeemer, chosen as the symbolic culmination of our trip. 11,000 kilometers through the south of Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. A zig-zag that connects coast to coast the thousand faces of Latin America. The tin mines of Potosi in Bolivia, where the working conditions underground have remained the same since the days of the conquistadors, the Carnival of Oruro, less known than the Rio but equally colorful, the national 40 also known as the road of death among trucks, tourists and coca crops. Herds of alpaca in Peru and the islands of the Quechua Indians. The mining town abandoned in the desert dell'Acatama in Chile and Valparaiso the city of poet Pablo Neruda. The vineyards of Mendoza in Argentina, the slums of Buenos Aires and the cowboys of the Pampas.

Like benchmarks choosen to set the journey, that must be above all discovery, meeting and sharing with the locals. The purpose is to understand what is really going on today in this great continent in transformation, which is preparing to become one of the most important stages of globalization. To immerse ourselves in South America and its people will travel by bus, the survival craft longer used, we will hitchhiking in rural areas and will sleep with the help of Couchsurfing or asking hospitality to local farmers in small rural villages. We are organizing an extensive network of non-profit organizations, innovative start-ups, productions from the bottom and research centers that teach us to measure the continent.
